Case history
The brick industry is classified as "energy-hungry" because its energy consumption is high with respect to its turnover, both in terms of natural gas and electricity. Wienerberger has always pursued a policy of reducing energy consumption, thus improving the efficiency of its production plants. This is why it decided to invest in the installation of a cogeneration plant. In this interview, the director of the Imola plant presents the main advantages.
