From 26 to 30 October 2026, BIOGAS Efficiency Info 2026 will take place – a series of events for biogas plant operators, farmers and plant managers. At five locations across Germany, the focus will be on how existing plants can remain economically viable: flexible operation or biomethane? What is the right solution for my plant?
The event series is organised by the Biogas Efficiency Initiative, which has been organising practical events for plant operators since 2015. The programme includes real-world examples from operating plants, focusing on reducing maize use, flexibility and biomethane. The sessions are designed as short presentations, complemented by breaks offering opportunities for direct exchange with experts and fellow biogas plant operators.
The series will conclude with a dedicated Biomethane Day on 30 October 2026 in Damme, focusing on grid access, CNG, LNG and CO₂ utilisation.
