Advantages of biomethane/RNG and, in particular, of Bio-CNG and Bio-LNG
Sustainable mobility
There are several benefits deriving from the use of renewable gas, three of which seem obvious: the reduction of food waste (as waste can act as a raw material for the production of biogas), the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and the reduction of air pollution when renewable gas is used as fuel. The transport sector is indeed the sector that could benefit the most from the implementation of biomethane/RNG, and of Bio-CNG and Bio-LNG in particular.
