Biogas for rural areas in Ireland, interview with DCC Energy
Agriculture and breeding
DCC Energy, the energy division of DCC plc, distributes fuels and gases and provides energy solutions for off-grid mobility, housing and industries in Ireland. Among the solutions proposed are LPG, heating oil, natural gas and wood pellets, to meet energy needs and promote decarbonisation. DCC Energy plans to replace 300,000 tonnes of fossil LPG with renewable alternatives by 2030, through investments in new technologies to convert biogas into renewable propane or DME (dimethyl ether), particularly for rural areas. Let's find out more in this interview.
