BIP - Biomethane Industrial Partnership, the partnership to support the production of biomethane in Europe

The European Commission and a large group of approximately 30 companies and organisations, coordinated by the European Biogas Association (EBA), founded the Biomethane Industrial Partnership (BIP) in 2022. This new public-private partnership is linked to the REPowerEU plan and aims to support the achievement of the objective of increasing the annual production of biomethane/RNG to 35 billion cubic meters by 2030.
