CCS and biomethane: large-scale biogenic CO2 capture for the net-zero target
Applications and technologies
When biogas (composed of CH4 and CO2) is transformed into biomethane, the CO2 that composes it can be recovered, liquefied and used in different ways. This is biogenic CO2. This CO2 is a very valuable resource, which can also be used in the agri-food market and stored. In this interview, we find out how biogenic carbon capture can be implemented on a large scale.
