Fit for 55: How do biogas and biomethane/RNG fit into this new challenge?

By June 2021, the European Commission will review all current legislation on climate and energy, in order to accelerate the transition to climate neutrality, reaching emissions reductions of at least 55% by 2030. This review process is known as the “Fit for 55” and will shape the legislative scenario for the next ten years, renewing the central role of renewable energy in this process.
