France: by 2030 it will be possible to meet 30% of gas demand with renewable gas
Market and policy
In France it will be possible to meet 30% of gas needs with renewable gas by 2030. This is the prediction of GRDF, the French operator that owns the longest natural gas grid in Europe. In the most developed scenario the demand for renewable gas could reach 90 TWh by 2030, saving 2 billion Euros for the balance of trade and creating around 170,000 jobs. And in this scenario industry operators such as GRDF will have a strategic role to play. How? Guillaume Virmaux explains. Download the attached presentation for all the details!
