The United States continues to offer strong growth potential for biogas and biomethane, or Renewable Natural Gas (RNG), with new opportunities emerging beyond the traditional transportation market. According to industry stakeholders, the priority is not so much comparing the regulatory frameworks of Europe and the United States, but rather strengthening cooperation between the two regions. Particular interest is focused on the maritime sector, where bio-LNG and biomethanol can support the decarbonization of shipping.
