Fuels of the Future 2021: on the road to decarbonisation thanks to biofuels
Sustainable mobility
A few weeks have already elapsed since the “Fuels of the Future 2021" conference, but there is still a great deal of enthusiasm towards the sustainable future that awaits us, thanks to biofuels. After the conference we met with Artur Auernhammer, Chairman of the Board of the German Bioenergy Association, to take stock of the issues covered and of how to harness the potential of biofuels in Europe.
In particular, we spoke about Germany, where the decarbonisation targets for the transport sector are extremely ambitious and require concrete and immediate action.
Will Europe and Germany be able to follow the right path towards sustainable mobility? We will find out during the next appointment with the “Fuels of the Future” conference, set to be held in Berlin in January 2022.
