GRDF: 107 biomethane/RNG plants connected to the gas network in France. What are the plans for the future?
Market and policy
About 107 biomethane/RNG plants in France are connected to the gas grid. A fair number that helps set ambitious goals. GRDF aims at reaching 12 TWh of injected biomethane by 2023. Some incentive systems will help reach such a target, including the 99€/MWh feed-in tariff for 15 years and the guarantee of origin. In this interview with GRDF, France’s main distributor, we will discover the potential and incentives for this industry.
