Increased biogas production by integrating CO2 into the digester: APESA and GRDF tests
Research
GRDF has established a collaboration with APESA, a French research technology centre, for biogas research and development activities. A specific project, which Tristan Rigou tells us about, concerns the integration of CO2 into the digester. Laboratory tests have shown that a greater presence of CO2 in the digester enables an increase in biogas production ranging from 5% to 20%.
