After 5 years, we have returned to Fondazione Poliambulanza, a hospital of excellence located in northern Italy (in Brescia), to take stock of the situation on the results obtained after the installation of the 2 MW CCHP plant. The investment, which was repaid in less than 3 years, has far exceeded expectations: it meets about 75% of the hospital’s electrical and thermal needs, working for more than 8000 hours a year. But Fondazione Poliambulanza is not stopping here and continues to invest in renewable sources and to optimize the management of energy resources.
