In light of the conclusion of EEG incentives for biogas energy production, what are the prospects for the biogas sector in Germany? Currently, some plants are considering a further extension of the remuneration through a system of tenders. An alternative is the conversion of existing plants for the production of biomethane for transport or integration with other technologies to flexibly power the electricity grid.
