Three factors that could help develop the biogas sector in Africa
Market and policy
There are three key factors that can help develop the biogas sector in the African continent: promoting biogas technology to make people appreciate its multiple advantages; helping policy makers become aware of this technology in order to implement incentive policies; and training the workforce, making it possible to have specialised technicians for building and operating biogas plants. This would make it easier to take advantage of the opportunities offered by Africa, which are very good, particularly in the Western region of the continent. Thomas Minter, that moderated the session focused on the African continent during the WBA eFestival, explained the situation and collected the different experiences of the main players in this web talk!
