UNI/TS 11567 Standard under review: the case of auxiliaries powered by renewable sources has been added
Market and policy
The UNI/TS 11567 standard provides organizations that want to produce biomethane with specific biomethane/RNG sustainability values and the related calculation methodologies, in order to ensure compliance with the principles defined by the European and national legislative framework on the subject, thus guaranteeing traceability and transparency.
It is therefore essential in order to obtain the incentives. This Standard has recently been revised and, among the changes, the most important is the introduction of the auxiliary power supply system with renewable sources. Compared to the standard configuration, this system, in fact, will reduce the emissions of the entire production line and will help to achieve the savings needed to obtain the incentive.
