Guidehouse and the RNG Coalition published a study on the contribution of the production of renewable natural gas, or RNG or biomethane, on the US economy in 2022. According to the report, presented during the RNG Conference in December 2022, in 2022 the biomethane/RNG sector is estimated to have contributed more than 30,000 jobs and $4.8 billion to the GDP and $9.5 billion to total sales. A considerable impact on the US economy, also considering the size of the sector.
