A 4MW low-cost installation: the secret is in the digester
Case history
An innovative 4MW installation, located in Germany, allows the production of electricity, heat and biomethane with a limited investment, low energy consumption and maintenance. We entered inside the underground digester, to discover how the matrices from agricultural sources are moved without the help of mechanical stirrers but simply through an upward drive mechanism for by-products.
