A micro digester to improve accessibility to biogas in Colombia

At the University of Icesi a new project has begun to support rural communities in Colombia. This is a 200-litre capacity covered micro-digester, built using locally available materials and fuelled by food waste. It has enabled the communities to improve their quality of life in terms of both health and the environment. Explore the digester's technical details!
