Artificial intelligence to increase the efficiency of anaerobic digestion
Anaerobic digestion
Artificial intelligence (AI) can be used to monitor and optimise biogas plants, overcoming the complexity of the biochemical processes of anaerobic digestion that traditional models struggle to manage. According to Philippe Breuils from Green Data Science, through data analysis it is possible to improve the estimates of the performance of the anaerobic digestion process and optimise both the production of biogas and biomethane, as well as the operational efficiency of the plants, reducing costs and optimising energy consumption.
