Biomethane for the agricultural value chain: interview with Femogas
Applications and technologies
At Biogas Italy 2026, we interviewed Stefano Bozzetto, founder and co-CEO of Femogas. The company has invested around €300 million in biomethane production projects, considering these plants true circular energy infrastructures. Biomethane is a green molecule that enables the decarbonisation of even the hardest-to-electrify sectors, helping to reduce emissions at the source. At the same time, it makes agriculture more sustainable and competitive, improving both its energy and environmental performance. In this video, we explore the role of agricultural and agri-food value chains in the development of biomethane.
