Biomethane/RNG in Ireland: what are the latest developments in the sector? Let's find out with IrBEA
Associations
Ireland is one of the countries with the highest potential for the production of agricultural biomethane/RNG, thanks to over 120,000 agricultural operators in the area and the tremendous amount of biomass available for anaerobic digestion. Despite this, the lack of a State promoted incentive to support the injection of biomethane/RNG into the gas network is holding back the development of the sector. Fortunately, the important activities of reference Associations, such as the Irish Bioenergy Association, could soon lead to a turning point.
Let’s find out more in this interview with the Association’s CEO.
