The Farming Tour 2022 is underway, the tour organised by the CIB (Italian Biogas Consortium) to discover some of the most “excellent” farms in the Italian territory. For this first stage, the Az. Agricola La Falchetta was chosen, located inside the La Mandria Park in Piedmont. A wonderful company, dedicated to agriculture, the breeding of calves for meat, the production of honey, but above all the production of energy from biogas. For more than 10 years, the biogas plant, consisting of a 625 kW/h cogenerator and mainly powered by zootechnical waste, produces electrical, thermal and digestate energy. A day of dialogues on biogas, RNG, sustainability and protection of the landscape, concluded with tests in the field and a great deal of enthusiasm about the upcoming opportunities for the development of the supply chain.
