Decarbonisation of the European chemical industry: biomethane among the potential solutions?

The European chemical industry is working intensively to reduce carbon emissions along the entire production chain. The transition involves more than 30,000 companies and Cefic, the European Chemical Industry Council, is examining with them the possible alternative solutions that can allow this sector – one of the most energy-intensive – to achieve the 2050 targets.
