Double cropping: Danio Federici's adventure

Danio Federici’s farm in the province of Cremona is dedicated to the production of milk and cereals. Thanks to the biogas plant he decided to install many years ago, he can now sell the electricity produced to the national grid, while the biogas heat heats the nearby care home. Also, the double crops enable a significant improvement in soil management and an improvement in profitability.
