Two different farms, one shared vision: producing biogas and biomethane in an efficient, sustainable and practical way. We visited Azienda Agricola Santa Marta, with its high-quality pig farming operation, and Azienda Bergamin Giacomo e CCS, where 650 dairy cows contribute to the production of Grana Padano cheese. Both farms chose to take a step forward by optimizing biomass treatment with the support of Vogelsang, a specialist in slurry management. At the heart of their plants is the PreMix pump, which mixes solid and liquid substrates, separates coarse foreign materials, macerates fibers and feeds a homogeneous substrate into the digester.
