The FCA Group has been investing in natural gas transportation for more than 15 years, boasting a wide range of cars and light commercial vehicles, for a market with an annual value of 70-75 thousand units. The whole production can already be supplied with either natural gas or biomethane/RNG. The big problem, for both types of fuel, remains the distribution network, which even though it has experienced significant growth in recent years, is not yet as widespread.
