GNI has over 700,000 potential customers for the biomethane industry. However, market development is necessary to meet demand and GNI contributes by covering 70% of the grid connection costs for potential producers. The agency is actively working to implement the new National Biomethane Strategy and support the industry in addressing current challenges.
