Germany: the new AwSV water protection policy also impacts biogas plants

Biogas plants will have to pay attention to new water protection regulations due to come into force in Germany. The new AwSV policy requires biogas producers to verify that none of the substances involved in the anaerobic digestion process leak from storage tanks and contaminate the soil.
