Global Methane Hub and Making Biogas Happen Programme: concrete actions to reduce methane emissions
Associations
Henrique Bezerra, Regional Lead Latin America, introduces us to the Global Methane Hub. The Global Methane Hub is an organisation created with the mission of supporting the reduction of methane emissions in the agricultural, waste and energy sectors, particularly in the South of the world, and is linked to the Global Methane Pledge, a voluntary agreement between 157 countries that aims to reduce methane emissions by 30% by 2030. This shared objective of reducing methane emissions finds concrete expression in the plans of the Making Biogas Happen Programme promoted by the WBA – World Biogas Association. Let’s find out how in this interview.
