Last December, the RNG Conference, the annual meeting of biomethane/RNG industry leaders from all over North America was held, organized by the RNG Coalition. The conference, which was sold out for the second consecutive year, confirmed itself as an opportunity for over 1,000 participants, including managers, directors and decision makers to take stock of the last few years and define future objectives. What is certain is that this is an extraordinary period for the sector, which has recorded strong growth with 300 active projects and over 150 under construction. The boost is primarily attributable to federal and state regulations and, with the recent approval of the IRA, even greater growth is expected.
