Support and cooperation: the role of Confagricoltura in the development of agricultural biomethane/RNG
Market and policy
Confagricoltura was one of the first farming associations to support the production of biomethane/RNG in Italy and for many years it has supported the sector in terms of standards, listening to the needs of its members. For this purpose, the Association has also entered into collaboration agreements with all the parties involved in the biomethane production chain; not only farmers, but also network managers and end users (ENI, SNAM, CNH, IVECO…). Thanks to this cooperation and constant work, the considerable challenges which the sector brings to bear can be overcome.
