The third stage of the Farming Tour 2023 takes us to the splendid setting of the Società Agricola Principi di Porcìa e Brugnera, in Friuli-Venezia Giulia. The historic farm operates in several agricultural sectors: it breeds dairy cattle but also trout, corn, soybean, barley and fodder, as well as nut trees, asparagus and vines from which it produces different types of wines. For years the farm has also invested in renewables, installing 2,500 square metres of photovoltaic panels and two 300 kW and 1 MW biogas plants powered by wastewater from its farms and dedicated crops. Principi di Porcìa never stops innovating and soon there will also be room for biomethane!
