Germany: Marx & Wahlen inaugurates a new biomethane plant that covers the gas needs of 1000 households
Marx & Wahlen has been producing energy from biogas for almost twenty years. To date, it has a total of three plants, adding biomethane to its electricity and thermal production. Tannenhof's new plant in Schillingen, Germany, recently commissioned, is capable of producing 200 Nm³ of biomethane per hour, equal to the gas needs of 1,000 households! Biomethane is produced by purifying the biogas generated with bovine, equine and chicken manure, as well as a small percentage of crops. A cutting-edge project that certainly contributes to the energy transition.
