Great success for the EBA Conference 2021, held in Brussels from October 26 to 27 with over 200 participants and more than 40 speakers. The event was the ideal opportunity to take stock of the latest developments in the renewable gas sector in Europe and, in particular, on the growth of biomethane, which was massive from 2019 to 2020, so much so that today the combined production of biogas and biomethane is able to cover nearly 4.6% of the entire EU gas demand! The topics discussed during the numerous interventions also included current and future regulatory framework in the sector, sustainability in agriculture, digestate, hydrogen and bioLNG.
