Biogas produced by buffalo manure: a perfect example of BiogasDoneRight in Apulia
Case history
The Azienda Agricola Fratelli Miano, in the province of Foggia, is a company in continuous evolution. They have recently installed a small 100 kW biogas plant that has allowed them to improve not only the management of livestock manure from their buffalo farm, but also to make the most of the digestate produced, using it as fertilizer for their vegetable crops.
An excellent example of how even a small biogas plant can lead to big results.
This was the fourth stop of the BDR Tour organized by the Italian biogas consortium.
