A company founded 100 years ago and which has never stopped renewing itself over the years: this is the Azienda Agricola Eredi Carioni. A model of agricultural entrepreneurship applied not only in the cultivation of fodder and in dairy cattle breeding, but also in dairy processing and sales all over the world. The Eredi Carioni farm is also energy self-sufficient, thanks to the installation of 2 biogas plants, with a capacity of 998 kW each. The digestate is subsequently used to fertilize the soil, contributing to the company’s organic philosophy that guarantees 100% natural products. The Eredi Carioni farm could not but be the protagonist of the sixth and last stop of the BDR Tour organized by the Italian Biogas Consortium, as an excellent example of BiogasDoneRight ... indeed, quite right!
