CO2 recovered from biomethane/RNG production can guarantee revenues
Applications and technologies
CO2 can be recovered during the biomethane/RNG production process using two techniques: membrane separation and/or cryogenic separation. Although these processes obviously require certain costs to be incurred, revenues are also expected. These depend on the specific use of the recovered CO2. In the Netherlands, for example, CO2 is used in horticulture and can guarantee revenues from Euro 25 to 35 per ton. What are the other possible uses for recovered CO2? Find out in this video.
