The European Green Deal is an ambitious plan for economic growth in favour of the environment. The Deal has the ambitious goal of transforming the EU into the first zero-emission territory by 2050. The European Commission has declared this project as a priority and has made huge investments available to support the relative energy transition. Of course, biogas is also part of the strategy. Recently, however, an important question has naturally risen: with the recession caused by the COVID-19 emergency, will the European Green Deal still continue to be a priority?
