Market and policy
Collected during the World Biogas eFestival, promoted by the World Biogas Association
In recent weeks, the European Green Deal has been the subject of wide international debate. The European Green Deal is an ambitious plan for economic growth in favour of the environment. The Deal has the ambitious goal of transforming the EU into the first zero-emission territory by 2050. The European Commission has declared this project as a priority and has made huge investments available to support the relative energy transition. Of course, biogas is also part of the strategy.
Recently, however, an important question has naturally risen: with the recession caused by the COVID-19 emergency, will the European Green Deal still continue to be a priority?
Let's clarify these and other aspects of the European Green Deal with Bioenergy Europe.
