From honey to biogas: here’s Silphie and its countless properties

                Anaerobic digestion
Silphie is a multi-year energy crop that respects the environment and boasts countless properties. In addition to not requiring any care for about 15 or 20 years (being a multi-year plant), it also makes it possible to reduce water waste, saving on irrigation. This crop is able to absorb about 11 tons of CO2 per hectare in addition to producing as much as 5 tons of humus per hectare of cultivation. But its amazing benefits don't stop there! Silphie guarantees large quantities of sustainable biomass (up to 60-80 tonnes of biomass per hectare) to produce 140/160 m3 of biogas per tonne. Last but not least, it is much loved by pollinators! Let's discover it together!
