In the wonderful setting of La Mandria park in Piedmont, La Falchetta estate is a perfect example of harmony between a biogas plant and the environment. The farm owner managed directly the project of the anaerobic digestion system of the 625 KW plant. He also sized it according to the farm production (animal waste and silage), while the heat produced by the biogas plant has been using for the estate district heating. Mr Ferrero is so proud of his investment that he has decided to open an agritourism and use the trigeneration.
