Promoting biogas development? The US begin with information
Market and policy
Despite the difficulties of biogas development in the US, the potential is high. Two years on from the definition of the Biogas Opportunity Roadmap, several are the results achieved: the USDA has launched the Bioenergy toolkit, the EPA the Food waste mapping tool, while the spread of biomethane is supported by the Renewable Fuel Standard and by State incentives.
