Renewable gases are key to achieving Net-Zero targets: the Eurogas and Frontier study
Associations
Eurogas, the European association for gaseous energies, commissioned Frontier Economic to conduct a study to demonstrate the essential role of gases in the energy transition. The study modelled several scenarios in which renewable gases, at their full potential, not only prove to be the most cost-effective way to use the available biomass, but also the most effective way to achieve the negative net emissions that are indispensable to achieve climate neutrality targets by 2050. In terms of costs, renewable gases are therefore an unbeatable solution. What is the role of biomethane in this study? Let’s find out in this interview with the General Secretary of the Association.
