The Farming tour stops in Lombardy, a region whose 500 biogas plants (which represent a quarter of those deployed in Italy) today represent the Italian heart of the sector. The stop was an opportunity to inaugurate the new biomethane plant of the Società Agricola Palazzetto, which will produce 5,000,000 cubic metres/year of biomethane for feeding into the grid. The company is a perfect example that combines agro-ecological practices, quality zootechnics and renewable gas production, strengthening the competitiveness of companies in the sector and promoting environmental and climate protection.
