Shrimp processing by-products: an excellent substrate for generating biogas
Research
Is it possible to use shrimp processing waste (of which there are significant quantities in our country) to generate biogas? The answer is yes, and the biogas generated this way also has an average methane percentage of about 72%, with peaks of 84%. What is the cell density of the microbial community? We talk about it with Giulia Massini from ENEA.
