Every by-product, agricultural or industrial, requires adequate pre-treatments to ensure efficiency in biogas production. For this reason, the international company Vogelsang offers state-of-the-art solid-liquid power technologies like the PreMix system, the solution that combines four work phases into a compact unit with a small footprint. In the PreMix, the by-products are mixed to the liquid phase of the digestate, shredded, and after the separation of foreign bodies, fed to the digester.

The PreMix system is also ideal for small biogas plants, such as the installation operated by the Azienda Agricola S. Agostino, in Mantua, one of the first 100 kWh plants to install this technology.
