The German Biogas Association celebrated its 25th anniversary during the Biogas Convention at Nuremberg last December. In this interview the association’s president, Horst Seide, talks about the story of Fachverband Biogas e.V and the challenges it has faced over the years, including biogas from refuse and the use of the cup plant (Silphium perfoliatum) as an alternative co-substrate.
