On 18 February, the World Biogas Association met the secretary of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) to talk about the implementation of the “Biogas and Climate Change Commitment Declaration” presented at COP25 in December. This declaration, signed by eleven countries, highlights the role that biogas may play exploiting its potential to the fullest. This sector may help reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 12% by 2030.
