Bioenergie Oberriexingen biomethane/RNG plant tour
Case history
During the guided tour organised by IBBK, we visited the Bioenergie Oberriexingen GmbH & Co biogas plant. This plant, together with the Sachsenheim one, were established thanks to the collaboration between a group of local farmers and the Bietigheim-Bissingen Municipal Service Company. One third of the biogas produced here is converted into biomethane/RNG (approximately 950 m3/h) and transferred to the city’s cogeneration plant, to power it and produce electricity and heat.
