Biogas and biomethane/RNG in Denmark: interview with the Danish Biogas Association
Associations
Among the ambitious goals set for 2035, Denmark aims to completely eliminate the use of fossil fuels and decarbonise 70% of its gas distribution network. Denmark has in fact demonstrated strong commitment to this path, with biogas production tripling in recent years and, together with the continued strengthening of the concept of a circular economy. But what incentives would be needed to fully exploit the biogas potential in the country? What kind of government obstacles must be overcome? All the answers in this interview with the Danish Biogas Association.
